Is there any computers available to use for this workshop?

At this time, no there is not. You will need to bring your laptop.

Is there any special software I need?

Besides the free and open-source programs listed in the instructions page, you don’t need anything else!

What if I don’t have a laptop?

As with the question above, at this time we can’t accommodate people who don’t have access to a laptop. Learners have in the past been able to get a laptop from the own lab or department. One eventual goal is that we can get these workshops in a computer lab of sorts to remove this issue.
